Samuel Violanti is the founder and President of Liberty Solutions. Sam received his bachelor’s degree in 1984 and worked as a medical technologist at Erie County Medical Center, Buffalo General, Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Mercy Hospital of Buffalo during his expansive career. Sam has over 26 years in the healthcare industry, the last twelve as an Information technology consultant in various projects across the United States.
In 1994 while working at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, he gave the gift of life and served as a bone marrow donor to a California resident.
A lifelong Buffalo resident, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife Judy and their three sons. His hobbies include winemaking, painting, photography and attending local sporting events.

Bios

Abby is a Senior Healthcare Consultant and the Director of HR for Liberty Solutions. She started her career with Cerner Corporation and has since been consulting across the country for some of the nation’s largest hospital systems. After joining the Liberty team in 2005, she continued to work on client sites and took on recruiting and human resources roles to help grow the company.
Outside of work, Abby enjoys supporting her favorite sport teams, cooking, reading and being outdoors with her family. Abby resides in West Virginia with her husband, Todd and son, Domenic.

Pete is a Senior Healthcare Consultant and Director of Operations for Liberty Solutions. Having been with the company since its inception in 2005, Pete’s responsibilities include the design and support of Liberty’s SmartView, an auditing tool that offers an in-depth and real-time look at a system’s current build in an instant to uncover potential problems before they can occur in a clinical situation.
A Buffalo native who currently resides in Atlanta, Pete’s hobbies include travel, listening to great music and running.

Aaron serves as assistant executive for the Sales/Business Development team and will be a main contact for many of our clients. He is a recent graduate from the University at Buffalo where he served as a student-athlete on the football team for the past 5 years. In his free time, Aaron enjoys watching and attending sporting events, searching for classic cars & trucks, and traveling to Chicago.

Cindy started working at Liberty Solutions as an Administrative Assistant in January of 2012. She has worked in the medical field for the past 28 years as a Medical Secretary for several doctors in the WNY area. Cindy handles all new & renewal contracts, as well as serving as the immediate back up for the Executive Assistant to the president. Outside of work Cindy enjoys spending time with Frank & their boys. She enjoys playing volleyball, bowling, listening to county music and occasionally reading a good book.

Karen Sciascia serves as a Recruiting Assistant. She has over 20 years of experience in her career and is new to the Healthcare IT industry. We look forward to this association and see Karen’s experience as a valuable addition to the Liberty team. Karen and her husband, Sam, have two children in college. She enjoys traveling, reading and swimming.

Ken Zywicki is the Senior Recruiter at Liberty Solutions. He recently returned to the Buffalo/ WNY area and joined us after 15 years of recruiting in both agency and corporate settings for tech companies in New England. Ken is our front line communicator with our most valuable asset, our consultants, and looks forward to exceeding both client and candidate expectations.
When not working, Ken can be found in various sports arenas, the occasional trip to the gym, or in the woods looking for his last golf ball.

In addition to being the Executive Assistant to the President, Kathie is the Contracts Administrator at Liberty Solutions and as such is also the customer service department with clients and consultants alike. Having been with Liberty since 2007, she is the administrator for our time and expense tracking system, ensuring that invoices are sent out, payments are received and consultants are compensated in a timely manner.
Kathie enjoys spending time with her husband Ray and their family, shopping excursions with the girls, reading and going to the theatre.
