This role is essential to ensuring coding accuracy and compliance before claims are submitted. This will be 3 months to start with a high chance of being extended and fully remote. Key Responsibilities include:

• Utilizing Streamline Health to review and audit inpatient coding and charges prior to claim submission.
• Investigate and resolve issues flagged by the system, including but not limited to:
  • CC additions
  • CPT code verification
  • Modifier applicability and accuracy

This will also focus collaborating with clinical/coding teams to ensure adherence to coding guidelines and improve documentation practices, in addition to conducting audits across all medical specialties, with a focus on:

• Cardiology (Heart & Vascular Institute)
• Neurology
• Orthopedics
• Medical Observation

Liberty Solutions has a client who is in need of a Revenue Cycle Consultant. This role will be fully remote and a 6-month contract to start. This person will work with vendors to maintain managed care contract terms and conditions in multiple/disparate applications/systems to include:

• Contract updates, fee schedule updates, payer reimbursement updates, insurance plan mapping, pricing discrepancies, etc..
• Open cases with vendors for contract updates
• Reviewing the contract build, testing and validating results to ensure accuracy
• Approving completed contract profiles for production
• Requesting repricing of affected claims
• Creating periodic and ad-hoc reports for leadership upon request.
• Exporting data from various systems/databases.
• Validating and organizing data into a usable format.
• Performing related analysis.

Skills/knowledge needed:

• Understanding of hospital and medical group revenue cycle operations
• Understanding of hospital & physician billing procedures and claim forms UB04 & HCFA-1500.
• Familiar with medical coding methodologies (e.g., CPT, HCPCS, DRG, APR-DRG, revenue codes, etc.)
• Familiar with working within a patient accounting system (EHR), preferably Cerner Millennium.
• Ability to analyze patient accounts within Cerner.
• Familiar with healthcare compliance related requirements
• Familiar with extracting data from databases
• Familiar with hospital and physician reimbursement methodologies (e.g., DRG, per diem, stop-loss, percent of charges, prospective payment systems, ambulatory payment classifications, fee schedules, bundled charges, etc.)
• Ability to apply contract terms to determine the expected reimbursement for an individual claim.
• Detail oriented
• Ability to use logic to arrive at desired outcomes
• Intermediate level Excel proficiency including creation of Pivot Tables (minimum)

Liberty Solutions has a client who is looking for a Senior Denials Management System Assessment and Modernization Analyst to lead a strategic assessment of a 15–17-year-old Denials Management System (DMS) that manages approximately $42 million in revenue. The system, built in C# and JavaScript, has a large legacy codebase (~128,000 lines) and requires a clear modernization strategy. This resource will assess the current application and deliver a comprehensive recommendation document outlining options to modernize, rebuild, or replace the system with a third-party solution. The initial contract length is 3 months and the role is 100% remote.

• Experience conducting a technical and strategic assessment of Denials Management Systems (DMS), including reverse engineering and code stability evaluation
• Experience developing a strategic roadmap presenting multiple future-state options: modernization, rebuild, or replacement—with pros, cons, and feasibility analysis
• Provide recommendations on modernization approaches, including .NET Core migration, front-end upgrades, and database restructuring
• Assess cloud readiness, DevOps integration, and data migration strategies
• Experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core 6+

They are in need of a seasoned, senior-level Epic Bridges resource that has extensive Data Conversion experience across all Epic Applications. This resource must have extensive infusion device integration and Cloverleaf experience. This position will be fully remote and 3-6 months to start.
