Oracle Cerner Migration Project Manager

Liberty Solutions has a client who is seeking a Cerner Application Project Manager with specialized experience in SurgiNet, women's health, and Radiation Oncology application Cerner domains to support a health system's transition to the Cerner EHR. This resource will lead PM activities across SurgiNet, Women's Health, and Radiation Oncology workstreams, ensuring these high-complexity, high-sensitivity areas are executed with the rigor and clinical partnership they require. This will be through end of 2026 with probable extension and is primarily remote, but will require travel during key events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own project management for SurgiNet, Women's Health, and Radiation Oncology application tracks within a Cerner migration program
  • Partner with department leaders to align on workflows, build requirements, and activation timelines
  • Manage interdependencies between surgical scheduling, clinical documentation, and downstream pharmacy/lab interfaces
  • Drive risk identification and mitigation planning specific to high-acuity and regulatory-sensitive service lines
  • Coordinate training readiness, super user programs, and go-live support logistics for each domain
  • Report status to program leadership and serve as the primary point of escalation for these tracks

Required Qualifications

  • 8–10+ years of project management experience specifically within Cerner implementations, with direct PM experience managing SurgiNet, Women's Health, and/or Radiation Oncology workstreams in live Cerner environments
  • Must have prior experience project managing legacy EHR to Cerner migration initiatives - experience navigating the complexity of a full system replacement is required
  • Understanding of the clinical complexity and regulatory considerations specific to surgical, perinatal, and oncology settings
  • Proven track record managing sensitive service line go-lives within a broader EHR migration program
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred not required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on Cerner build experience in SurgiNet or Radiation Oncology workflows a plus, not required
  • Experience with perioperative workflow design, surgical preference cards, and anesthesia documentation in Cerner a plus

This resource will serve as the primary PM lead for ambulatory clinic rollouts across the enterprise, managing workstreams, stakeholder alignment, and go-live execution in a complex, multi-site environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management for ambulatory clinic deployments within a Cerner migration initiative
  • Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to drive alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Manage risks, issues, and escalations across multiple concurrent clinic rollouts
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address the organizational and workflow challenges common in Cerner migrations
  • Facilitate readiness assessments, training coordination, and go-live support planning
  • Maintain project plans, status reporting, and executive-level communication

Required Qualifications

Epic Credentialed Trainer (PAS / Front-End Rev Cycle)

Liberty Solutions is is need of a Local Epic Credentialed trainer to help support training and onboarding for their PAS (Patient Administration System) front end users. This requires someone who has deep PAS knowledge, with at least 5+ years of conducting both classroom trainings and ATE one on one dedicated support. A strong understanding of front end/ PAS workflows in registration, scheduling and insurance verification. A background in high-volume onboarding experience in patient access / revenue cycle operations in a healthcare setting is required. This will be 3-6 months to start and would require weekly travel onsite.

Training structure:

  • Part-time ~30 hours a week (3 days of classroom training at 8 hours a day, plus any ATE supplemental 1-on-1 training) 4 hours for each class a day.
  • Classroom size is typically 10-15 people per class, each onboarding wave is just these 3 days.
  • Client prefers to use their own training materials
  • ATE supplemental training will be truly ad hoc

  • Deliver Epic curriculum for PAS/front-end users
  • Support onboarding waves of new hires

Oracle Cerner Learning Manager

Liberty Solutions has a client in need of an Oracle Cerner Learning Manager. The Learning Manager leads the strategy, development, and delivery of a comprehensive Electronic Health Record (Cerner Millennium) training program that ensures users across the organization gain the proficiency needed to work effectively in the system. This role will develop the full training plan and also oversees a team of trainers as they are brought onto the project as well as instructional designers, and content developers, ensuring the training program is aligned with organizational goals, real-world workflows, and vendor standards.

This position will be 12-18 months, with consistent travel and the resource must be able to conduct presentations with the client and their executive team to ensure alignment on project scope and outline specifics of what will be occurring in the training plan.

Objectives

•Ensure the training plan aligns with the scope of work that the client has agreed upon.

•Lead a high-performing training team in designing and delivering an integrated EHR learning program that includes instructor-led sessions, online modules, simulations, and hands-on practice. Hands-on components and blended learning are core industry best practices.

•Ensure training content is aligned with user-specific workflows and validated by clinical and operational experts, reflecting proven approaches such as workflow-specific and expert-reviewed training models.

•Oversee the creation of high-quality, role-based training materials tailored to the diverse needs of clinicians, nurses, and administrative staff, consistent with personalized training approaches highlighted in the literature.

•Implement a blended learning strategy that incorporates e-learning, simulations, and peer coaching, mirroring trends identified in current EHR education research (per the client contract.)

•Develop clear evaluation metrics to measure training effectiveness, informed by recognized models referenced across education outcomes.

•Foster a culture of continuous learning by ensuring ongoing education, refresher modules, and access to updated materials as system features evolve, reflecting best practices for continuous updates and post-go-live training.

•Establish systems to analyze, track, and report on program effectiveness, leveraging data to drive improvements.

The client is in the middle of an active AWS cloud migration and needs a resource to assist with this project. ight candidate will step in fast, stabilize the environment, and help get the migration timeline back on track. The initial contract length is 3-6 months and the role is 100% remote.

  • 7–8+ years of hands-on SQL DBA experience in a production environment
  • Active, proven experience with AWS cloud services
  • Direct involvement in a SQL database cloud migration project
  • Strong skills in performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, and high availability
  • Backup/recovery and disaster recovery expertise
  • Ability to onboard immediately with minimal ramp-up - this role requires Day 1 contribution
  • AWS Certified Database Specialty or Solutions Architect certification a plus
  • Professional references will be required for this job
